Lyra/ Aerial Hoop Classes
Beginner Lyra/Aerial Hoop
-Learn to make art with your body. In this class we will help you build strength through aerial conditioning, grace through flow, and dance through sequence transitioning in and out of the hoop. You will learn the proper mounts and dismounts as well as balance and conditioning through dynamic stretching. Aerial Hoop ranges from a great workout to a dominating and freeing self expression.
This class is a great addition for anyone who loves, Aerial Silks, Pole, Yoga, and Gymnastics.
Please come to class with long leggings and a shirt you can tuck in to cover your stomach.
Lyra and Silks Instructor Senora Loop
Senora is a compassionate, energetic teacher and performer with a background in therapeutic exploration as well as ample experience working with children and animals. She most passionately believes in having students ponder and reevaluate the concept of “possible” with the hope that aerial training will teach students to defy pessimistic and “grounded” mentalities. Senora strongly advocates the use of fitness and aerial training for improving physical and mental well-being.
Senora has trained from coast to coast. This siren has stunned in several performances, such as the Aerialogy Winter Showcase, Indy 500 Snake Pit After Party, Pride Summerfest 2016-2019, and Lotus World Music and Arts Festival, and many more.
