Alexandria Bio
Alex first discovered Buti Yoga three years ago at a studio in the South West, and she was immediately hooked. As a dancer and as a regular practitioner of vinyasa yoga, Alex found that Buti Yoga challenged the body to move in refreshingly different planes of motion. In short, this class was unlike anything she had ever experienced in a classical yoga class. She immediately
wanted to share with others the joy and empowerment the practice awakened in her.
Buti Yoga is a dynamic class that fuses together cardio-intensive dance, abdominal core work, and plyometrics. This calorie-scorching workout is also inspired in part by the practice of Kundalini yoga.
Alex’s style welcomes beginner and intermediate levels. She also offers challenges to advance the practice of others. Her core philosophy, both in yoga and in her Buti Yoga practice, is that the journey is about progress not perfection. With a bass bumping playlist, creative flow, and a focus on breathe work, her class has something for everyone.
